  • using the drum controller to an extent can increase your skills as a drummer, like your rhythm and precision, but it will NEVER compare to the things u can learn on an actual kit. if someone learns drums from playing rock band thats great, but but them on a real kit and they'll get confused very quickly. and as for the guitar controller teaching u how to play guitar....how? exactly do 5 coloured buttons make u a better guitarist?

  • ur wrong

  • (for the Sick Sick Sick cover) ehh... I'm not saying that you need to use the hi- hats when you are supposed to all the time, thats pretty diminishing of creativity, but you gotta draw a line. the china... or whatever you were using did not fit very well. I can see how you would think it would fit, but stick to the hats on that track. it is pretty hard to play although.

(Muse Cover) Much better than the QotSA cover

  • Off the wall idea....put the cymbals away for a while. Maybe you'll like it and play that way forever, who knows? I've seen a couple of drummers whose kits were all drums and no cymbals. I thought it was an awesome sound - very tribal and visceral. I bet it would make you a better drummer if and when you bring them back, because you'd have to think about what you're you're going to do to finish a riff instead of *crash*

Learn new patterns, and all knowledge is good, yeah? As I said....an idea.

  • I think you're a pretty good drummer....but more important, you clearly love doing it. Unless you're in the 1\1000 of 1% that can make a decent living at it, what more is there?

Love it forever, love it to death.

  • haha sick my 2 fave songs

  • Sweet, you keep getting better on those drums everytime i hear you play. And wow, oaxa, i think he's playing it just fine, the point of a cover, as previously stated in the comments, is that you put your own twist on it, holy shit. grow up

  • u play the intro wrong... and deres no crashes in the song. just the china... try it again witout dem... ur good ;)
