The Golden Arm may not be an Urban Legend like a majority of my favorite stories are. But it remains as one of my favorite campfire ghost stories of all time.

This story was not recorded from the same scary story CD that all my other stories were recorded from. I had to search the net to find it so I could bring it to you guys.

Enjoy.

Glad you enjoyed the story my friend.

  • Thanks so much for posting this, as a kid back in the 70's I had a record with this story on it exactly as you have here...I would play it over and over again. Great to hear it once more 30 years later...

We used to do similar activity's around Halloween time back when I was in grade school as well. Mine was the mid to late 80's era. We used to have a blast listening to Halloween songs.

My all time favorite Halloween song of childhood is There Was An Old Woman All Skin And Bones. I used to listen to it like crazy back then. Always brings back memories whenever I hear it today. Very found memories.

  • @madmanmarz2000 Hell yes ! In my school, (Austell GA ), we all ways had story time and I just loved scary stories, our teachrs all ways had a pumpkin and cut outs of witches ans ghosts taped to the windows, very much like the movies "The Lady in White", and we would play scary records and have treats, I just loved being in school during that era of the early 60's !

As do I my friend. 80's style slashers are my all time favorite genre of movies. And nothin beats a good scary story when you just want something to listen to.
