Uh so much noise for so simple frame..

This is great, which is the way real wood working is done, with the least amount of tools as possible. The glued part is where the canvas or printed material sits. Figure out what you want to frame first, then offset the glued wood to fit what you want, be it canvas or a print. If your feeling really bold, carve the offset with a chisel by hand.

Just buy a Logan frame tool.

The bit rate is excessive causing slow downloads.
It would have been much easier to start with the stock that is as thick as you want your frame, then use a router to make the step, rather than gluing, nailing two pieces together, then having to remove the nails and possible glue drips. Even if I used this method, why nail? They make clamps for this. The dowel was too small in diameter.
Many steps were overlooked, sort-of like those Chinese instructions that come with a prefabbed cabinet.
