its call inhancing the distance between two person....{ aka means two are far apart but the camera make it look like they are walking near each other.
its not a filmmaker mistake...they reduced they distance between the two people

i think the part that makes me laugh the most is right after she gives that little "if i could i would speech" and takes in a breath and makes her eyes bigger, just to prove the point. :D i love calleigh.
