@Morisato4 Actually, no. It is a remake of Gold and Silver, and if you play as a girl intead of a boy, you will still battle Red.

She should've been included as Silver's final challenge. Red should've only appeared to Gold (Brendan) and Green appeared to Silver (Lyra).

And she's Green since FireRed and LeafGreen both refer to your rival as Blue in Japan and America.
