THIS IS FABULOUS!! With all the canning, baking and candles that we do it would be incredible to get together with other people who enjoy the same things and swap.
LOVE 2 LIVE AND ENJOY ORGANICs
You are doing a GREAT thing...Keep it up.
OH, thanks for enjoying my Snowflake Jumping Puppy. LOL :)

@cookingupastory cool. This is a great idea.

@cookingupastory You're on! Let me know if and when you would like to make a "local" trade.. :)
-
@WhiteTiger333 Yum! I wish there was something I could trade out! Have to get working on that. =)

@cookingupastory My most popular trade item is local maple syrup and maple cream. We have several NY producers in the county. I've also sent out local raw honey. In return, I've gotten local raw honey from a couple of places in the UK. Each place has its own flavor. Also some to-die-for small batch California olive oil. And I'm waiting for a jar of homemade olive 'jam' from a UK friend's sister in law in Mauritius. I'm thinking of more possibilities that ship well.

@WhiteTiger333 That's unusual but sounds fun - what are some of the things you've gotten? Traded out?
this is a great idea as long as no one gets sick from the traded food.

@crewlla no kidding! but you are talking to the source - I overheard several conversations about what was used in the making of the product, how long they thought it might last, how long have they been canning...that sort of thing.
