The best hipnotist in this case is the guy from "Little Britain"...You know the one saying..."Look into my eyes, not around my eyes..." it ment to be a joke. At leat it should be.

any1 else think paul mckenna looks realy handsome?

One question though... if Paul McKenna is called the "second best hypnotist" in his *own* video, who is the best then?
Richard Bandler, creator of NLP. He's not actually British, but he works in the UK a LOT, so I think that qualifies him as the best in the country.

Doesn't work for me! Anyone who simply uses a technique without appreciating what the client needs and responds to best is not a therapist. Relaxation and day dreaming are not the same thing as hypnotic trance, they are forms of trance but not hypnotic trance. To test this, next time you visit your dentist, tell them you don't want an injection, start daydreaming and notice what happens as you count back from 300. Remember to post your experience here.

It doesn't really matter how long you count. If you are still a bit awake during the hypnosis induction, the counting will keep your conscious mind distracted so it doesn't interfere with the hypnosis process.
However, if you are already pretty relaxed to begin with, you will drift off very quickly. Both is fine :)

how long should he count? Until zero or should he stop when Paul talks?? I bought the book with the CD and I didn't know either
I think its actually a joke, referring to Kenny Craig ( the hypnotist from Little Britain) as being the best

I don't think it matters, I brought the book and CD too and I never reach zero, it's just a method to ease your mind I think.
