On a board of T♥7♣5♦, Daniel Negreanu called a 20K bet from Carlos Mortensen. The turn was the K♣ and both players checked. The river came the K♥ and Negreanu checked again. Mortensen then announced that he was all in.

Negreanu took a few minutes to work through the hand. Finally, he made the call. Mortensen turned over 7♦7♠ for sevens full of kings and Negreanu mucked.

Mortensen takes the pot and Daniel Negreanu has been eliminated from the tournament.

  • Real question is: what did Daniel have? I think he flopped 1st or 2nd pair with Q or A kicker. That's why he couldn't let go of his hand.

  • @shanedoanisracist He's the most winning poker player in the world, i think he is doing whatever is best to do, on an average scale. And that includes folding river bets for sure.

  • Does Negreanu ever fold to a river bet, like ever?

  • Hurry up ffs
