Piano Lesson # 33 Piano Chords - Alberti Bass Chord Pattern

In this piano lesson I show you how to break up a regular piano chord into a technique called Alberti Bass. It makes piano chords more interesting and can also give the chord more direction instead of a regular block chord sound.

hi I am almost grade 6 level pianist, and I'm trying to learn Bach's prelude 6 from book 2 of Clavier book. Bwv 675 is it's call number. Any tips to make the song easier? I find it really difficult. =) thanks if you are able to help.

lots of separate hand practise, try playing each voice individually, use the metronome at a slow speed. You can also use a high lighter to high light the melody ^_^

Great video! Been playing piano for fifteen years now (VERY leisurely, I'm only Grade 8) and I never knew there was an actual technique to playing an Alberti bassline!
