Today we made our first attempt at determining the gender of the baby mice. The mice are slightly more fuzzy but not much else has changed.

Please do keep your hands clean when handling them in future. I'm not sure what the score is on mice catching infections but its very likely baby mice would be more vulnerable to possible infections. Cleanliness should be put into place with adult mice too of course, as with all pets.

How old are these mice? They look very young. And where is their mother? You are aware that baby mice should be left with their mother at this age and not be handled. The mother can smell your scent and may abandon or even eat the babies. Unless they are ophans and you hand-reared them. And even then, wash your hands, they are babies after all!
