How are the bighorns on the trails? A guy with a Jeep 4X4 shop was talking me into getting them for my Explorer.

@X92Exploder You can't go wrong with a Maxxis tire. The Bighorns and Buckshots are great! They are relatively cheap, self-clean well, and have good traction in all conditions. Although, I've been using Hercules Mud Terrains on my current JK Wrangler and they're cheaper and very good. The compound on the Hercules may be a little softer, though.

damn is there even a lift on that thing?

Nope, both are completely stock! The Bronco looks lifted, but it's just bad-ass from the factory. Probably could have cleared 33x10.50's, but I had 32x10.50's on without any problems and that gave me more than a foot of clearance under the transfer case skid-plate and most of a foot under the diffs.

do you know a woman named Lea that used to come out there in her K5 blazer?
sometimes he daughter,Rea, would come out there too.

@hotrods100 No I never met her. Would have liked to wheel with a K5 sometime, though. They're great! Her K5 isn't open diff'd with +40" tires is it, 'cause I was at Horse Hole Mud-Bog over a year ago and a girl was wheelin' a blue k5 with three +40" tires and a 33" AT spare. It was hillarious!
