  • Yes, we live way beyond our means. Let's start by cutting the defense budget.

  • DANCE DANCE DANCE. Socialism is socialism Senator McCain. You may very well be doing the right thing, but if you think you are, please give up this commie-scare tactic.

  • @Olympion You made that comment 2 years ago and BOY does it ring true til this day. Obama is in no way a liberal and yet all we hear is how he's a socialist and the most liberal president ever... My ass, lol

  • Yeah, i wish he or kucinich had won.

Oh well. Too bad he was unpopular in NC. I didn't follow his local initiatives, but i wonder what they thought he did wrong. He sure was popular within the party. Has NC been moving conservative since he went into office?

Its not like he was only a one term right?

  • Edwards decided not to run for re-election in 2004 because he was so unpopular in North Carolina that he felt he had a better chance being elected president than winning re-election.

  • Yeah, what Olympian said, and when did Edwards leave the senate?

Did he quit on his own just because of an affair from years ago?

He was too important to many causes to fall because of that. dark clouds around such an otherwise positive cloud for dems.

Still, if obama was ever to the left, that would end up making the dems far right since hes centrist on nearly everything.

Definitely false claim. Who are these people that rated the senate?

Whats a name I can search for?

  • Bernie Sanders and Russ Feingold are both a lot more liberal than Obama and those are in the Senate, so it's still wrong. It would be good if Obama was actually more liberal on civil liberties issues, on foreign policy, on gay rights etc, but he's not, so Republicans using this as an attack line are either ignorant or lying.

  • OMG, did he just say "Joe the Biden"? Oh no!!!

  • McCain didn't say Obama was the most left in the Congress, he said Obama was most left in the Senate. Kucinich is in the House and Edwards is no longer a Senator.

  • "Left hand lane"? "MOST LIBERAL"? (what ever that means, red meat to republicans, make liberal a pejorative.)

OH NO, RUN, HIDE YOUR WOMAN & CHILDREN, IT'S A LIBERAL!.

Bush spread the wealth, just to the wealthy & corporations.

Gee it's nice to see the old clips of the old McCain. That McCain is dead.

"We'er in a financial crisis of monumental proportions" Humm he was saying on Sept 15 & 16, as market imploded, "Econ is fundamentally Sound".

Grandpa is scaring me, he said CUNT!

  • I love all these comments. We are not buying anymore Republican bullshit! President Obama is on his way!

  • McCain has just been owned on "MEET THE PRESS".
