@idioidioteque I have seen several speeches by Wayne Pacelle where he openly states his opposition to pet ownership, the One Generation and Out comment. You wont hear that outside of big private fund raising events. The comments from PETA havee also been made in public. All such comments are almost always taken on hidden camera as HSUS wont allow the media into their Invite Only Fundraisers. PETA has also been caught lying about famous actors being members

@Zeion97 No, some people do know...and agree with HSUS. Make no mistake about it, there are a contingent of people out there who want to end animal agriculture, pet ownership, and hunting, and they aren't all employed by HSUS or PETA. They do have REAL supporters who know what they are, and still support them. Messages like this are aimed at reaching those who have been duped...which is a LOT of people...but there's still going to be opposition.

Pet ownership is pretty weird. Dogs were bred to be used as animal slaves for labor purposes, not be "buddies." What joy do people get really get from tying up an animal and walking around with it every day. What the fuck...

EVERY dislike on here is from someone who has NO idea what the HSUS actually does. Why not going listen to the debate they just had about the python ban? Wether you like it or not, you people are defending them and don't know shit. MY LOCAL society takes in almost 2,000 animals a year and gets denied at EVERY request they send in for help, they were even once told "Sorry, we don't support Humane Societies of your size" Now that's some fucking Bullshit.. Why don't you guys CALL the HSUS?

I don't suggest they believe everything this video states, but educating themselves would be a good idea, before saying this is all BS, and HSUS are just short of being saints. Look at the money they spend on wages! Crap!!! Wonder if they are hiring?

Take a look at the budget they have, then look at where it goes. A lot is WAGES,TRAVEL, entertainment, and other things I'm sure the animals could care less about. Then, just for fun, look at the number of animals that are euthanized by these people, and add in PETA's numbers as well. See, its euthanized when these hypocrites do it, but murder???? when a farmer or legitmate hunter does the same. Peta has been forced to admit their kill #s. Still wanna send that donation to these people?

@nanci00 So you think it is sane to put ads on your website soliciting donations to help care for animals you are planning on killing? During the Mike Vick case, HSUS was asking for donations to help care for Mike Vick's dogs...even though they didn't have custody of them and stated they should be KILLED. They also forced foster homes to return puppies taken during a raid in Wilkes County so they could kill them.
