Before Belle offered to be the Beast's prisoner, I wonder why the Beast didn't lock Belle in with Maurice saying that he has two prisoners. Also, if the Beast was going to allow Belle to walk around the whole castle except the West Wing as a prisoner, why wasn't he going to allow Maurice to do it by only just locking him in a room and probably left to starve when of course, he was going to invite Belle for dinner so she wouldn't starve and not lock her in a room?

The first time I saw beast when I I first saw this movie, I thought, I really wanted to touch his fur. DOESN'T IT LOOK SOFT AND FLUFFY?!

Gaston is one of the best developed villains in all of Disney's movies. Unlike most villains, who start off sinister, Gaston gradually evolves into his sinister self. He begins as the town hero, well-admired by everyone and fawned over by single women, but becomes evil over time when he doesn't get his way. In fact, we could argue that he's STILL the town hero near the end of the story: he's the only person who had the power to organize the whole town into a mob to fight a personal battle.
