Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), who will soon announce her official presidential campaign, has repeatedly said she and her husband have raised 23 foster care children. At the Republican Leadership Conference in New Orleans Friday, CBSNews.com senior political reporter Brian Montopoli asked Bachmann to clarify.

@2bRealist I understand that I am an idiot and I am good with that but maybe you should not hate so much. Foster parents have a tougher time with kids than Adoption parents. It is much harder to have a child for 30 days than for a lifetime but you don't give a shit because I can tell by your statement you are just jealous of anybody that has done well for themselves and has money and compassion so you just keep hating and see how far that gets you in life.

I'm all for helping kids out, but it's the way she did it.. she had a choice. She could have paid up and taken true initiative by adopting those kids from a private orphanage, but she choice to take the GOVERNMENT WAY, by fostering kids... SHE GETS GOVERNMENT MONEY!!!

Adoption = Privately ran and cost you money

Foster = Government ran and you get PAID (with tax payer money)
