In this recalibrating presentation, Srivatsa Krishna, a 'babu' as he calls himself, of the IAS (Indian Administration Service) shares with us another side to the Indian bureaucratic system- 'babus', much like him, who did dream extraordinary dreams and made a mighty impact on millions.

He narrates examples of the failure to launch corporate dreams within the Government, the success stories of the leaders within the Government that never made headlines and finally his dream to challenge how transformational leaders inside the Government can create a transformed India. The only lingering question is - Does every sector get the leader that it deserves?

  • babu....the great...

    awesome speech by srivasta krishna....

  • What an excellent and thought provoking speech by this IAS man - it is very true that there are many Babus and Netas, who have the power of changing the future of India, with which hope she is progressing confidently - hats off to these true leaders

  • Now we know Babus are doing good. Now we need to know the Babus who are NOT doing good and are lazy. For sure this speakers is motivating and inspirational story. But the Cameraman had his eyes every where but on the speaker.

  • Excellent and brilliant exposition on what dedicated individuals , even if "BABU"S" can achieve and deliver to the Nation

  • cameraman is ogling bigtime

  • These are the incidences out of thousands of IAS. What about lakhs of incidences of Failures that the general Public faces.

  • ias is not merely a post its a responsibility an oppurtunity he dispalys is very well

  • Wish he'd also given examples of bureaucrats who've created transformations to reduce poverty or illiteracy or addressed basic needs of the poor or done something for farmers and others in rural areas where the majority of the country lives!!

  • All we see here is name dropping, and self promotion. Disable the system most times- that is what babus have done over a hundred years; anyone who brings back to life some parts of it become heroes. Factually incorrect too in most of what he states though persuasive to a stunned audience which does not question.

  • A GREAT PRESENTATION.U CAN FIND THE PIN EVEN IN A HAYSTACK.MOST OF US CRIB,RATHER THAN DO OR ATTEMPT SOMETHING BIG.MOST OF US HAVE BEEN TRAINED BY THE CLASSIC EDUCATIONAL PATTERN TO BE COMPLIANT AND NOT THINK OUT OF THE BOX.THESE FRIENDS OF INDIA ARE OUT OF THE BOX
