Taking away Tate Forcier's winged helmet was a serious mistake and a VERY unprofessional move by Rich Rod. A player's progress on the field is between him and the coach alone in the same way a student's progress in the classroom is between the student and the teacher. Taking away a player's wings is like a teacher announcing to the class that a student failed a test. It is just so wrong in my eyes. It is also eliminating Tate's ability to maintain a leadership role with other teammates.
