This is one of Steve Chapin's masterpieces, he does write the most beautiful songs. The Steve Chapin Band performed last nite in Phoenixville PA, and play tomorrow nite 10.16.11 at The Tarrytown Music Hall, in Tarrytown NY.
Bethlehem PA on 12.10.11, Boca Grande FL 2.6.11. He also plays @The Ovens Natural Park, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia July 1st thru Sept. every year. The Steve Chapin Band is the original Harry Chapin Band, Steve Chapin, 'Big' John Wallace, Howard Fields.

I saw Steve about 3 years ago in Cedarburg Wisconsin. The show was a tribute to Harry and his songs. Tom Chapin was there, along with Big John Wallace, and The Chapin Sisters. A very enjoyable evening.

Hey Steve what a treat to hear "Let Time Go Lightly" I can never forget the night in Phoenix after the Celebrity Theater show when you climbed that chain linked fence topped with barb wire to retrieve the Frisbee before that big guard dog could sink his teeth in you!..One of the most courageous feats I've ever witnessed. This sweet song brings back tender moments with my college sweetheart Allyson at Mt. Allison University in 1980. We listened to Harry Chapin for hours on end without a care in the world. Good times!
