Sheffield Lib Dem Council leader Paul Scriven sings in hotel chain promo video

On his Twitter feed, Mr Scriven said:

"It is an internal training video! I did it to help out a friend because the main "actor" wasnt old enough. I wont give up the day job!"

and

"It was meant to be an internal trainng video..not public and I got NO pay from it."

I think the biggest problem with this is that it's a bit of a "f*** you" to all those civil service jobs that are being axed as we speak. OK he's acting a role, but a council leader allowing himself to be filmed flashing a VIP card round a luxury hotel, while grinning and sipping pricey cocktails, is a bit of an insult to those council workers across the country who face Christmas with an axe hanging over their heads. I don't think you need a sense of humour bypass to realise this is musguided
