This is my favorite Tammy Wynette song. I never get tired of hearing it. Wynonna also does a great version of it.

@grease4 When I was growing up in the 60's I always bought Tammys records & x-husband George's.
I Just never understood the "lyrics" to this Beautiful/Sad song Until Now.......Her voice Cries.

Nobody does it better than the great Tammy Wynette. Love and miss her. Always in my heart and on my stereo or CD player. Can't get enough of her. There were so many songs left for her to sing. Love and miss you. May you rest in peace.

This song is true and heart felt. If anybody had their ins and outs of love, it was Tammy. I was older when I realized what a true gem she was, and this song always makes me take a look at myself, and keep hoping to get it right. Rest in peace, Tammy Wynette, I love you.
