Shooting and showing my favorite customized Remington 870 of all time, The Wilson Combat / Scattergun Technogies Remington 870 Over a couple of decades, I've owned two of these and let them both get away somehow.
As you might infer from the video, there's just something special about a pump shotgun. Of all the guns I shoot, there's nothing I enjoy more than a good old Remington 870 or a Mossberg 500 / 590.

These modified Remington 870s are not cheap, as I mention in the video, but as a result of my many years of experience with them, they are pretty much my favorite shotgun.
I'm pleased that somebody in this country is taking a classic shotgun like this and trying to make it better, regardless of the price. I don't know Bill Wilson at all, but I'm happy that he does this.
If you cannot afford one of these, don't think it's worth the money, or you just hate Remington shotguns, or whatever the reason, please try to control your hate. It often just comes off as class envy. As best I can tell, you are not required to buy these shotguns; you are allowed to pick one up off the rack or even modify it yourself. It's a great country, for the time being, anyway! :-)

Hickok45, I was just given a 870 that was my grandpa's. Best I can tell it is from the 1961. The sad thing is my dad let it get some water on it and it has some rust. I have taken it apart and been cleaning it up slowly. I am worried that some of the Blueing may be rusty through. I was wonder if you had any pointers or any do and don't. Also if the blueing is messed up how do I find a person that I can trust to get it fixed.

You mr hickok45 are a joy to watch! Very entertaining and are very good about not being bias towards certain models (I know you are a glock guy but you are never bashing other models) Thank you for posting and doing these videos
