Scoliosis Fashion Advice For Girls

So you have a brace, too? Well not to worry. Thanks to my experience and research online, girls with scoliosis braces can look good, too.

I just started this account because I want to connect with other people who are in the same situation as me. I wear a brace 20 hrs. a day and wear it to school, too. It was tough, scary, and upsetting, but sometimes you got to suck it up.
I first learned a lot through school because my class had to do a research project and I picked scoliosis. I learned a lot and I also came across websites that helped me. Here's something you should check out:

hey! I got scolisosis but im going to high school next year. Its there any other brace thatts not going to be that noticable or should i take surgery

@dancercutey12 braces are all similar, but if your curve isnt that bad DONT get surgery. surgery will change your life! my cousin got it and its basically a rod placed on your spine to straighten it. you can barely do anything with it. physical activity could be hazardous/dangerous after getting surgery. hope that helped with your decision.

thanks that help me i have scoliosis and it is hard.I starded wearing my brace in 5 grade and im still in 5 grade.I first wear my brace 1 hour a day cause of what i wear i look ugly i hate wearing my brace but i learn that you need to wear your brace or you will have your back ugly for the rest of your life.

@dancercutey12 Im going to n u shuldnt ima wear my brace No matter what they say u cant change it neither the o ne ur wearing is the one best for youu. jus buy biqqer clothes it helps

Or just dont wear it when your shopping... and then put it on as soon as you get home :)

@ScoliosisSociety i forgot how long i have mine but i have to wear it 23 hours a day. so far school is great and no one seems to make fun of me. my friends are more nice too (:

@iluvchicken1000 after a while you get used to it, surprising as that seems. the brace became normal to me cuz i wore it 20 hours a day. how long do you wear yours?
