Ridge Racer V for the PS2, run on a PS3, captured at 720p60 to show the combing artifacts in the game. Field rendering and low resolution cause what should have been a showcase title for the PS2's launch to look more like PS1.5.
Notice even the loading screens are field rendered, and the high contrasting black on white text in motion shows this off "beautifully." This footage was slowed down to 20% so you don't miss a thing, but you definitely wouldn't have missed it on the popular SDTVs of the PS2's day.
In the second sequence we can see vertical structures and lightposts leaving a comby ghost over the image. This footage is also running at 20% of realtime speed.
In the third sequence (slowed down to 10%), the painted lines on the tarmac leave combing ghosts behind as the camera pans around the bend. Combing ghosts are even present between camera cuts, as you'll be seeing lines from the previous camera showing up on the new cameras initial shots.
