"I've seen a lot of people and I've been to a lot of countries- Romania is the twenty-third country I've been to- some people are very sympathizing, some are thinking only business- its very different. The last few weeks I was in Prague and I released that so many people are interested in our movement, so I got a lot of publicity. It's not only that, but also the Czech government is very active, for example the Czech ambassador here in Romania, he also said that not only the people of the Czech Republic but also the government are supporting us; this is very important 'cause the Czech Republic has now the presidency of the EU, and that's why I'm also very pleased to have met the authorities and foreign ministries in the Czech Republic. Since 2007, after the Saffron revolution, the world has more and more awareness of the people, and I'm very glad that people wish to support us."

Please send out the petition around your country in order to spread the word about the situation in Burma and gain more support for the cause. The petition target is 888,888 signatures by May 24th, symbolizing 8.8.88, the day the junta massacred some 3,000 people who courageously protested in Burmas largest democracy uprising. The petition is calling on the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to make it his personal priority to secure the release of all political prisoners, including Aung San Suu Kyi, and will be handed over to UN SG on May 24.
