Daniel Craig is a re-boot, just like J.J. Abrams "Star Trek". So, Daniel Craig has nothing to do with S. Connery through P. Bronson. This is by far the top 5 Bond movies of all time, because it had that "The Dark Knight" villain plot - TDK being the greatest Comic Book movie of all time. Skyfall and The Dark Knight Rises was my top 2 of 2012.

Bond not being up to his usual self didn't feel convincing, the final large action sequence felt forced and the ending was anticlimactic

Where did you find or get that last shot were a bunch of bonds are shooting at the barrel?

The stupidity of this movie gave me a brain aneurysm.

Huh? What about the evil dude being not only deformed and weak of motivation, but gay, and the bond chick being a child sexworker slave, but then shot accompanied by revoltingly misogynistic remarks (pointlessly so), and then there's the brain dead subway crash? Quantum's action scenes were RIVETING but Skyfall's were yawnable!

Before seeing Skyfall my friend told me the intro showed the entire movie and he was right. Sure it departs from the "theme" tradition, but I think it works even better as an enthralling beginning to the movie. It would be awesome if it became a new tradition in Bond.

I think the point of James Bond is to be the same character using the same action cliches, which isn't a bad thing because most other films do it. You could argue every action hero is the same character and James Bond is a more cynical version of that.

Pacing towards the end did not pay off. The M reveal was quite interesting as well as the nostalgia. Not sure I like different raced people, like I wouldn't be fine with a white or Chinese Quarrel so a mixed race Moneypenny seems weird.

Skyfall was an awful bond movie. Haven't been disappointed like that in a long time. Especially since i tried to stay away from the trailers to watch it fresh.
