Manta testing at Sea World Orlando

This is a video of Manta at Sea World Orlando testing. It was built by B&M and is a flying coaster. This video was shot about a month before it opened on Memorial Day weekend on May 22, 2009. It's 140ft/42.67m high, with a 113ft/34.44m drop. The track lenght is at 3359ft/1023.82m with four inversions and a top speed of 56mph/90.12kph and a ride time of 2 min 56 sec. This coaster also has the infamous B&M Zero car that has a beautiful Manta on it.

Its almost the same exact track as Superman Ultimate Flight in 6 flags Great Adventure. Its still a good coaster i cant wait to ride it

Kraken is great. If you haven't been on it then I reccomend you go front row, nothing in front, nothing above, and no floor below you. Then do the back row. Back row is my personal favorite on Kracken as the g-forces are more intense there plus you get a nice blast of zero g on the first drop. I just got back from the Manta media day event (which I was invited to) and rode it 30 times and it's very intense, especially in the back. I'm in the process of posting the video now so check my channel.

I have ridden it as well, they started testing it out for employees as of 3 weeks ago, Aquatica, Discovery Cove and SeaWorld employees. ItsJamesOBrien is telling you the truth. I work for Aquatica and I got to ride it this past Wednesday

Wow that ride looks very smooth and calming and it just glides which makes me feel like i am really flying i love that ride

Effing love this ride! Only = to the twilight zone elevator drop! Back in england now. Walking to the chippy is the best ride am gonna get! :(

i went on this ride on the 14th of may when i was in florida they were doing trial runs ,, its one of the best coasters i been on. 1 of the top 3 on my list !!

I was there for the media event on the 21st and managed about 30 rides that day. No more that three in a row without having to take atleast a 30 min break. You're right, Manta is definately a "loose the contence of your pockets" ride. I've posted a off ride POV that includes a walk through of the que after the ride closed that day.
