@ScopeSF I know you'll still be on the mini map, what I'm saying is they will still find you because it's not a suppressed weapon and the weapon will be loud, when you fire a weapon there is going to be a muzzle flash of flames exiting the barrel, in night maps you will be able to see where they are easily, the flash suppressor eliminates the light coming from the weapon so it's harder for them to spot you, unless you are in the open firing. I use it on night maps mostly though.

@ZoryuOfSetsunaPS3 Although it does still have you show up on the mini map, it also has no damage reduction and only a slight accuracy reduction, as opposed to the slight damage reduction and major accuracy reduction that the suppressor gives you. That's why I preffer the flash suppressor over the standard suppressor, but to each their own.

where do you find the gun damages at?

What the flash suppressor does is conceal the flash of the muzzle of the gun so the enemy doesn't see the flash of your assault rifle so the enemy doesn't see it and spot your location. It really doesn't do anything online people will still find you though.
