Very true. The interview was what I was most nervous about, but I didn't find it too hard to focus on the game, surprsingly. The lengthy rehearsals certainly helped me feel more comfortable on the set.

No, because she didn't solve that puzzle. When I solved it, her $10,000 worth of cardboard vanished into the ether.

Speaking of which, how come Pat OR you never once mentioned you'd previously been on Millionaire? Did you find Meredith or Pat more likeable?

A lot of game show contestants do multiple shows, and it's almost never mentioned. Presumably, the shows don't want to give free publicity to their competition.
As to the hosts, contestants rarely get to interact with them much more than you see on TV, so I don't know all that much, but from what I did get, Pat seemed more professionally courteous, and Meredith more genuinely caring and enjoying of the job.
