2009 OUTLAW DIRT KART NATIONALS

Joshua Moffitt, age 9 wore a GoPro Hero Wide SportsCam during the event. Unfortnately, his 2 A mains resulted in crashes. The trrack was dry slick, with a relatively narrow racing groove. I think you will agree that these kids, age 8-12 race at some pretty amazing speeds. These Nationals are run during the same time frame as the famous Knoxville Nationals, in Knoxville Iowa. They run these in the day and the "Big Cars" at the "big Track" at night that week. the Outlaw karts run their weekly show at English Creek Speedway on Friday Nights during the normal racing season. Doug and Robbie Wolfgang were in attendance this year, as the younger wolfgang raced a 500cc outlaw kart. Enjoy the video as much as we enjoyed making it. this is at English Creek Speedway in Knoxville Ia, Sprint Car Capital of the world. The Outlaw Kart Nationals are held the same week as the famous Knoxville Nationals, about 10 miles apart.
