@Gnomefro A lot of things in contemporary times become more accurate in context. The hadiths were written by 3rd/4th hand writers during the Pre-Islamic pagan integration in Arabia and Persia, therefore many writers included their own ideologies that deemed correct for them, that included wrongfully indoctrinating things to the Prophet Mohammad who already illiterate, could not do anything to stop these lies from spreading. The hadith also is false because it is not mentioned in the Qur'an.

@Gearhead2008Yeehaw I'll second that! Muhammad also was a thief and a murderer!

How can anybody give consent at that age? Their not old enough to make adult type decisions!

I hate to be redundant, but he was a pedophile, a freak and a false profit. He started a false religion, he was and still is the Satan's greatest false profit, who is followed by a billion plus deaf, dumb and blind people who still need to get to know the true God. Allah is a false god, and not the same as the One True God of Christianity. Muslims need to come to Christ, to be saved.

@ArchChristi You claiming that hadith are fabricated amounts to rejecting that earlier muslims were actually muslims though. Somehow, you, in the 21st century, think you are in a better position to know what Islam is than the earliest muslim scholars. The arrogance and failure to grasp the limitations of your own situation inherent in that statement is just staggering.
-
@ArchChristi I pity you though, because the fundamentalist nature of Islam only leaves intellectual honesty and lies open to you as ways to escape the barbarism of the past without leaving the religion entirely. Christianity at least could go the route of interpretation and personal relationship with god to deemphasize the barbarism of the bible, but Islam is all about submission to a divine doctrine that the muslims claim to have understood for 1400 years.
-
@ArchChristi People would be horrified if anyone pulled up the moral doctrine of Genghis Khan today and insisted that it's an obligation to folllow his teachings, yet this is what muslims do with Mohammed. 1400 years is a hell of a lot of time to learn how to better relate to other human beings. The secular world has learned. They have even dragged Christianity with it through the enlightenment. Islam remains as one of the few icons of iron age barbarism and superstition.
-
@ArchChristi The fact is that the early muslims were barbarians. They were robbers, slavers and rapists(Sahih muslim 3371 is a good insight into this). They even documented these activities in both the Qur'an(Sura al Anfal for example) and in the Hadith. Those things were completely normal to them, as they were to other competing tribes of barbarians, like Genghis Khan or Alexander the great.
-
@ArchChristi When you try to deny them today, you are doing so because secular morality has changed vastly for the better, and you are embarrassed about the actions of Mohammed when he is put side by side with the superior morals of contemporary western society. Whether it's pedophilia, slavery, barbaric punishments or calls for imperialistic warfare to spread Islam - it can't take being inspected in the radiance of secular morals.
-
@ArchChristi "I just don't believe in fabricated hadiths, which is where you get these baseless assumptions from..."
What a laughable excuse. If you're going to say that Sahih hadith are fabrications, even though they were supported and uncontroversial enough that the leading early muslims scholars wrote them down. You're basically making the statement that the early muslims had no idea what Islam actually said. Clearly the muslims at the time had zero issues with those hadith.
PTTTT how can they justify this ,but look at their prophet who spread Islam not through love and peace but at the end of a sword .
