  • they're an 80s car... biggest rims in the 80s were 17"... anything bigger looks pretty horrible on an 80s car i reckon, ruins the styling

    that said any tyre profile lower than 40 begins to turn your handling and ride to shit

    but it's your car, go for it. you'd be better off with old-school AMG deep dish wheels i reckon, like pentas or the 3 piece ones

  • hey i have a 1987 mercedes 420 (black on black) in mint condition. and i also have an extra set of 20 inch rims from my moms other car that she had wrecked. the rims are universal to fit any car. but i was wondering, would putting 20in rims that werent specificaly made for a mercedes mess it up in any way??
