Michael Schumacher is the best! he's changed F1 for the better, an at the same time, stamping his own mark on the sport , with 7 Championships an a name that will be in History for ever ,so please "stand up for the champion".

Schumacher didn't just happen to jump into a good Ferrari and win instantly, it took him 3 years to get a good enough car to win the championship. He built the team and car around him, so next time any of you try to give the excuse that he had a good car, remember that if it wasn't for him, tthe car wouldn't have been that good. Michael is the best all round for me. In the top 3 for the best racing, but all round person, he is number 1 forever.

@hunt2727 Oh and on a seperate point. Josh Verstappen (Schumacher's team mate at Benneton) believed that there were things on Schumacher's car that were illegal.

@ceoaalp Why resort to swearing & insults to make your point. Nobody is saying that Schumacher wasn't a great driver, he was. 1 of the top 5 of all time. However, it can't be overlooked that the man cheated & was unsporting at several key points in his career. Mike Tyson, Jake La Motta, Ben Johnson etc etc all were great sportsmen, world champions but all disgraced themselves through their unsporting actions & cheating. Schumacher has created a legacy very much in this vein.

@hunt2727 It was proved, They recieved a massive fine. What Brawn had done was very clever, he had put the TCS system in the car but done it such a way that it was impossible to pin point how & when it was being used. Schumacher was a fine driver, there is no doubt about it. However, even the most ardent Schumacher fan can't deny that the man has cheated at several key points in his career.

@hunt2727 The problem that many people have with Schumacher is this. Michael Schumacher is, without doubt, one of the greatest drivers in F1 history. However, the man was a cheat & a poor sportsman. 1994 season he was using illegal TCS, took out Damon Hill at the Australian GP, Jerez 97 tried to take out Villeneuve, Silverstone 98 he abused the stop go rules to steal a win, Austria 2001 & 2002 the team orders fiascos, Monaco 2006 blocking the track & Hungary 2010 running Barrichello to thewall
