planning to join the reserves when i turn 17 next year, go off to embry riddle and get a BS in Aero Science, minor in ATC and Homeland Security and let the reserves pay my tuition (or as much as possible), go transfer to active duty (enlisted) and try to get an ATC slot.
from their i'll move to Air Craft maintenence, and get my recommendation letters to go to OCS and Flight school to fly C-17s or C 130's.
I don't just wanna fly, but i wanna experience other jobs in the USAF. WISH ME LUCK! :D

I just recently started to looking into helicopter crew/ gunner type jobs in the military. I've been planning on (and talking to the recruiter about) joining as an 11B in the Army. Can someone tell me if its true that the Air Force is the best option to be an aerial gunner?

well your question is very common and is alot like the Which branch will give me a better chance of being a pilot navy air force or Marine corps
I would say that the air force is going to have more slots for aerial gunners due to the fact that they have more helos

@capcadet417 the air force does not have more helicopters, the army has the most helicopters out of all the services
