This is a recording of Detroit's sirens. The city tests in about a minute and a half of alert and about a minute and a half of attack. Unfortunately I only was able to get the attack portion (my mom kept calling my while I was recording the alert portion). Anyways you hear one Thunderbolt 1003 (from Melivindale), Thunderbolt 1 1000T (Detroit), 1 Thunderbolt 1000, 1 2001-SRNB, and possibly a Thunderbeam. After Detroit's sirens wound down, U of M Dearborn's Mods went off. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a recording. They kind of caught me by surprise so I didn't have enough time to get my phone to record. Maybe next month I will get them. I hope you all enjoy.
This video was uploaded from an Android phone.
And now that I think of it, the first time I saw a tornado siren (I was three I belive) it was a Thunderbolt. It fascinated me. So maybe that was an allusion to my hobby today.

The Thunderbolt in Melivindale is a 1003 there is a video of that one and how long has your interest in sirens been and what got you interested in them

@garyhstorms10 Oh yeah I forgot. I'll change that. To answer your question, I've been interested in sirens for about three years now. One day I was fooling around on YouTube and thought "hey, I haven't heard a tornado siren in forever" so I decided to look one up. I found DJT's video of a Thunderbolt 1003 doing all signals with the 3T22 symphony at the end. Upon hearing that my interest in sirens snowballed into a full blown hobby.
