There are many drills and training tools to increase wrist and club head lag. I used a heavy weighted golf club, a Power Angle and a Swing Guide to build a training device to exagerate the feel of connection and wrist hinge.
You will see in this video, my student Koren Robinson, is using the golf training aid to encourage better lag. You'll see him exagerate the motion. These exagerated golf swings give him the feel of holding off his release.
Notice in his last swing how much better his position is at impact. The more rehearsing and exagerating, the better he will become.
