To crs1012---He never said he was cutting your pay, he is denying you raises which is different. I am glad that government workers finally have to do like the rest of us have had to in the private sector. I just wish it included Senators and Congressmen who are way overpaid. Remember, this is taxpayer money! You should be thankful you get paid the wages that you do and stop complaining because nobody is going to feel sorry for you.

I CANNOT understand how people do not see how bad cutting people's salaries is. This is ridiculous, he has NO RIGHT to govern their pay. Not only is it morally wrong for him to freeze their pay w/o freezing his own, it's ILLEGAL.

Pay Freeze means they don't get a raise until the President says so. They are not working for free. President Clinton was a good president as well. Wasn't the best role model for our children but was a good president for jobs, economic ect. Remember President Obama was making millions of dollars compare to what he is making now.

He shouldnt have done that. You dont do your staff like that without cutting your salary first..Its all about respect for others and their families as well as you own. And I dont care no one should work for free except if they willingly volunteer their salaries up. Its bettre to collect a check and give to charity than not get one and be humiliated
