@perkulaterful I don't know where they were formed, evanescencereference.info says that the rumors that Ben and Amy met at a youth camp aren't true and I've never heard anything about them forming at a Bible camp before. However, they did form in 1995 and released the EPs Evanescence EP and Sound Asleep EP in 98 and 99.

@950725 Earlier days?I heard they formed at a Bible camp back in the mid-90s. I remember listening their cd in college (during the late 90s), so I know that had one or two albums out (maybe they were EPs?) before the 2000s.
