Savoy Brown's hand bill was acquired from the now non - existent Park Inn International's men's bathroom door at Schooners Beach Club in Canal Park - Duluth,Minnesota.
March 12th,1995.

I went to see Kim Simmonds and Savoy Brown for the first time at the Park Inn International's "Schooners beach club" . March, 12th & 13th 1995.
At this venue you could... ( and I did ).. sit extremly close to the stage.
Growing up in Seattle, you would "never" sit this close.
So.... for me it was front and center of Mr. Simmonds.
Great show and just a great place to "really" see a band up close.
Sad to see this place gone.... and replaced literally by a parking lot.

All Burned Out was recorded from the 1989 C.D. release -
" Kings of Boogie "

Savoy Brown is -

Kim Simmonds - guitar
Dave Walker - vocals
Jimmy Dagnesi - bass
Al Macomber - drums

We are particularly fond of this song because we (Mark and I) and our band used to play this song. People used to love this song...they would ask "what song is this, did you write it?" Then we'd get these people (other musicians) saying that we should do songs that everyone knows!! BORING!! It's funny that musicians, at least in this area, think that people wanna hear the same old top 40 hits. It's good to put one or two top 40's mixed in with the unknown. That's the ticket. It keeps the audience interested to see whats next! We've been doing "off the wall obscure" stuff for years and we get a GREAT reaction from audiences. Our problem is that we cannot find other players (guitar) who will learn this stuff. I (Tor) think its just fear or laziness. The reason I say this is because when you listen to the bands play top 40 stuff, they are so used to playing it that they get lazy and it sounds lame. This is not JUST my opinion. Mark and I go out to watch a band and they don't seem to hold their audience...the people just talk right through the songs....just saying.

Let's Rock !!!!!
Peace.
