He wasn't exactly a collision runner, like Earl Campbell, Larry Csonka, or Craig Heyward. He was just so big, that he caused a problem as most defenses didn't have people who were big enough to bring him down, and the people who were big enough were too slow. Well, at least that's what it always looked like to me. He wasn't a very violent runner, but powerful nonetheless. He didn't trample people, but they just bounced off of him. Man, he's tied for my favorite player of all time.

Got him in my All-Pro Football 2K8 videogame, I've got him and Natrone Neans "Bussiness" as my Twin-Head monster in the backfield, I ran for an average 220 yards per game with both (Okoye gets the most part of the yards like 140) One of the most powerful backs in the history, as a Broncos fan I liked when Atwater crushed him, (I'm only 15 so I saw a video), nice RB, it's a shame his career was to short.

From Wikipedia: "The Igbo people (archaically Ibo; alternatively or historically also Iboe, Ebo(e), Eboans, Heebo etc.; Ṇ́dị́ Ìgbò in the Igbo language) are an ethnic group of southeastern Nigeria." and "A tribe is viewed, historically or developmentally, as a social group existing before the development of, or outside of, states." So being of the Igbo people I suppose he could be considered a tribesman. Either way he was one hell of a running back.

It's a shame that Okoye got injured.  He probably would've been a first-ballot Hall of Fame running back if he had stayed healthy.
