Very nice duel.
Sintai (Kai in contemporary times) is finnish, Pin Yu is (obviously) chinese. This is a first finnish-chinese movie.

  • i assume all the passerby (village ppl or whatever u wanna call it) cannot see them rite.. cos if they do, then it just ruined the whole scene..

  • Maybe they don't care :P

  • They never released it in the UK or US did they? How can I at least see an English subtitled version of this movie?

  • Use the FORCE (torrent).

  • alright, what are they talking through out the movie, chinese or finnish???

  • Chinese and Finnish, and that's because there is a legend, which somehow connected these 2 nations.

  • Fact:

This movie is the first finnish movie that was shown in chinese theaters.

  • I love this part! I think this is my most favorite part of the whole movie! Thank you for uploading it! :D It's like she is testing or feeling him out, but also as though both of them are courting. That's the image I got. ^_^ It's so cool!

  • aawwww. She's speaking finnish actually very well :) and it sounds very cute :P

  • @rexam Could be a normal event for the girl to randomly fight anyone who chats her up

  • martial arts used here is bagua, bagwa/ pakua. Its used in Avatar by the protagonist aang. ruined by m night shamalamadingdong. someone needs to redo avatar movie!

  • @drzlobjul The Song ist von Kimmo Pohjonen and Samuli Koskinen

  • I love everything in this scene.

  • @zieba It's almost impossible.

  • it was a battle of love. to see if he saw her, like the avatar

  • sintai on ilmarisen poika. ilmarinen oli suomalainen ilman ja taivaan jumalla jopa ukkoakin korkeampi

  • @TiikerinKarva- It's really uneven - to my non-native ear sometimes he speaks quite well and sometimes he speaks awkwardly. Fortunately most of his really rough lines are to Pin Yu, so you can just write it off as his being awkward with girls. ^-^ I was impressed that any of them sounded so good, because there are a lot of sounds in either language that don't occur in the other, and the tonality in Mandarin's hard to master even for a dedicated student if you didn't grow up in a tonal language.
