This is a really good band, even though they have the lamest band name ever.

Couldn't agree more. Everyone was so high on Wild Nothing in 09/10, but really In Praise of More (Engineers) and Forget the Night Ahead (The Twilight Sad) blew everything else right out of the water.

I also hear My Bloody Valentine, Cass McCombs, and Fleeting Joys. I'm really liking their sound!!
