with a belly of pork
too tired to walk
He just sits on his butt
with his eyes half-shut
it´s the easy way out
not to worry about
your body and soul
or the earth on a whole

wake up and listen to the meaning of the words you hear
a mantra praising the eternal growth rate
it´s like a rule of nature, big grows bigger, little shrinks, in the name of prosperity
like the phases of life itself; struggle, prosper, hit the dirt
nothing we escape from `cause of power of science
we lost our place in natures reign

What would you give up?
from your own paradise
Would you let go of the merchandise you crave,
you throw the dice
Would you put up a fight
To preserve your right to the comforts that you need
What difference makes a single act?
If half the world denies the gloomy fact
And keeps the fire burning, while they yearn
for the western way of life, so sweet
