Doctors from the University of Texas Medical Branch worked furiously in surgury for 18 hours to attempt to reattach the young boy's sights back to his weapon, claiming he may have to leave it in fully automatic mode if he ever intends to hit another target. Later, the realized a problem was about to take them over in regards to the ammunition they couldn't get back...
