  • I loved the Spotted Dick. The first time I ever heard that, I was like "Whoa, what? What is that? You're eating WHAT?" Too funny.

  • gotta love a good old fashioned cup a tea!! northern accent here people lol XD

  • British food is okay if you are a horse.

  • i haven't had spotted dick for about 18 years , fills ya up nahhh mean.

  • @HewittLTD

it's not stereotyping it's a britsh food. just because you haven't eaten it doesn't mean it should be erased from history.

stereotyping is when you assume ignorantly everything is one way. there was no implication that all british people eat is spotted dick.

  • @harryfaber I stayed there with friends once.Who live up there, but never got a chippy.I did how ever get one in Avemoore. And it was pretty good,if I remember correctly.

  • @legandrydirk It has been a while since I visited Scotland, I was just too blown away by the scenery and the friendliness of the locals to take much notice of the food!

I wonder if there is a good chippie in Fort William where I can eat and watch the sun go down?

  • @harryfaber There is a good chippy in Girven in Ayrshire. Its right on the sea to.The fish is fresh caught that day.Anywhere near the sea should be like that. But its not always the case.I reckon shops just do there best,to get the cheapest deals. So they can make there money. Its really expensive up here now.You can pay a fiver, just for a fish supper. In many places around the country. As they say the fish are dying off.Ayr is on the coast, got one therre. And I was not impressed at all.

  • @tdcpm27 Its not Scots who have a chip on there shoulder.Get real we have no obsession or inferiority complex. Some of us had the miss fortune to live in England. So when we eventually come home.We get to realize how amazing Scotland is.And I was talking about chip shops in the north of England. There better than what passes for a chip shop in the south. You lot would not know a decent fish and chip shop. And that is a fact, ask anybody. The first thing they miss in London,is a good chippy like home.

  • @legandrydirk Luls, such obsession and inferiority. Stealing out Food, eat haggis or whatever that shit is.
