Fight was stopped too early. Who knew what the next round would have brought. I think Hyland would have changed the pace of the fight. Too important a fight to be stopped like that. Casey is a fine fighter but still I think it was a shame to end like that.

hyland is the more technical boxer, Casey is a raw talent, but the ref definitely ended this far to early,casey shots wernt getting much success,,defence is also a part of boxing

@ImElvis666 Still premature. Winky/Soliman. Winky/Williams. Clottey/margarito Clottey/Pacman.. Winky/Quartey.. i can name a ton of fights where blocking punches didnt ammount to a stoppage, and it shouldnt here either. Boxing 101 is if your opponent is swinging, dont open up and risk getting hit. Nothing was landing cleanly.. it was a bad stoppage.

agreed, i think casey would probably win. but hyland may have turned it around. clottey offered nothing in some of the later rounds against manny but the ref gave him the benefit of gettin back into it.

@gaura1234567891011 You have to punch back, the ref can't let a guy take constant punishment for 30 seconds without reply. Anyways, Casey was always winning that fight regardless.
