Hi, I´ve noticed in yout video that your Zx1 uses the 1.02 firmware. In fact, this firmware is not the best, when it comes to audio quality.
Try to upgrade it to firmware 1.06, to get some more audio volume and more bass.
It´s a quite simple thing to do, go to Kodak site, support section, Zx1 page, and read a little more about it.
I did it, with mine and got nice results.
But remember, it will still be a mono camera, not stereo as the Zi8.
