Phone booths *were* nice for that, before they all went away. I haven't seen a phone booth at all, or even an uncovered (and working) public phone in YEARS.

Last time I used a public phone was in 2005, and I caught a cold from the thing. No thanks.

I miss phone booths. To this day I still don't own a cell phone. I don't use the phone enough to justify a cell phone, phone booths are nice for that rare call you need to make.
