@gav25x Those cars are 'compact executive cars'. The GSh is a 'mid-size executive car'.
What Lexus you should compare the S4, CLK, M3, etc with is the IS-F. You should be comparing the GS to the BMW5, MB E and Audi A6.

Nothing this side of an M5 quicker to 60? what about an Audi S4?, Mercedes CLK55 AMG? BMW M3? etc..

The worst thing about this car is the CVT transmission. I'll rather wait for the Infiniti M35 Hybrid, which comes with a proper 7 speed transmission, lithium Ion batteries, and one electric motor adding another 60 hp to the 3.5 litter 300 hp gasoline engine.
