True; that's actually the reason they nerfed the Powerjack last year. Of course, the Powerjack had huge upsides over the Fire Axe even on random-crit servers, whereas the Market Gardener's upside is pretty negligible (because the only people good enough to use the MG to max effectiveness are those who will never get a chance to; their Rocket Launchers already killed everything)

Operation Market Gardener was a WWII military operation, and Gardener also references the fact it's a shovel.

I fail to see where a item used for gardening (which is on the ground) deals more damage in IN THE DAMN AIR.
Then again, I fail to see where Valve gets these ideas anyway, but hey, this is TF2, the only reason I got this game is because it looked full of retardation, which I enjoy.

@MistrEgg its not meant to be taken seriously, its a complete fun weapon
to take tf2 seriously is to miss the point of the game, this weapon is completely for fun
when you actually USE the weapon, its fun as hell, its really rewarding to get kills with :)

Well no shit; it's a ROCKET JUMPING WEAPON. Rocket Jumping takes a ton of practice, and so does this. Once you have practice, you are the deadliest class in the game
