Gallagher gets NASTY with CHARVAT and The public

You''ll Have to TURN UP your COMPUTER VOLUME to Hear the Audio...sorry..

Okay...here we go. Ald Gallagher usually get it...but this time apparently NOT. He accuses the general public of being ignorant in the budget process, while defending the $40K dumpsters. Thought teh point he was trying to make to make to the general public is that he and the city council should not be voting on budget items they do not fully understand. Point taken, however, by posing this line of logic Mr Gallagher, you should have voted NO on the Budget as a whole.

The people of this community are NOT ignorant, they, as I, truly believe, that essential services in our community are more important than $40K for dumpster cameras and that we need to get our PRIORITIES in order

All the Aldermen insist they are listening to what the citizen's have to say....However, he and the other Aldemen after weeks and weeks of budget hearings did not offer one amendment to the budget based on any citizen comments...did I miss something here?
